Support the Band

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the existence of the Bay Area Community Concert Band (BACB) is dependent upon community donations.

The BACB is not financially affiliated with any other organization and receives no income from tax dollars or any source other than what is raised with help from our donors. Except for the conductor, all persons affiliated with the BACB donate their time. All concerts are free and open to the public.

There are expenses the concert band incurs. These include music, equipment, venue rental, and others.

Here are ways you can support the band:

1. Attend concerts and offer a donation.
2. Become an annual sponsor ($100 or more).
3. Donate online.

   * Recurring donations paid by credit card require creation of a PayPal account. The account is FREE, easy to set up during checkout, and allows the donor to cancel the recurring donation.

You can support the arts in Oregon and receive an Oregon income Tax Credit when you donate to the Oregon Cultural Trust (OCT). Although the Band does not benefit directly from donations to the OCT, contributions to it do support all the arts and the Band can apply for grants to the Oregon Arts Commission, a partner of the Oregon Culture Trust.
